Sekhmet’s
Guardian’s Book Three
By: V.S. Nelson

Tshering
Snow never meant to fall hopelessly in love with her savior, the Ancient, known
as Lance, but she did. He seems to care deeply for her, spending every
available hour with her, but will he be able to give up his past and settle
down with one woman? After all, he has the reputation of a playboy.
Lance hates the personification he has created around himself. Afraid the
others might not understand why; he has held back the truth from Gabriel and
the other Guardians, he has waited for the right woman, the one Sekhmet
prophesized so long ago. And now he has found her. When he is accused of
fathering a child by both Gabriel and Tshering, how can he make them believe
the child is not his, even if the boy is a spitting imagine of him?
After the women are attacked by Set’s Legions while relaxing on Jennifer’s new
yacht, they come to the unanimous decision; they will train and join the
Guardian forces. But that’s not as easy as it was meant to be. Old fashioned
and hard headed, Gabriel is determined he will not having women fighting in
their war.
When Tshering, Jennifer and Jessica are taken hostage by Set’s Legions all hell
breaks loose on the Guardian’s compound. Lost without their mates, brother
fights brother while they try save their women and put an end to the Legion’s
terror. Will Sekhmet, the goddess they serve, step in and reveal the truth or
will she leave them to find their own solutions to a never ending war as she
has in the past?

What does Author V.S. Nelson want us to know about her?
The
rules are simple. There are 20 questions but you only have to answer 8-15:
As a writer, what
drives you?
Writing
has always been my therapy. It’s great for the soul and for my sanity to
release all those stories which accumulate in my head.
Can you tell us
about Sekhmet’s Guardians Series?
Many
years ago, in the days of Ancient Egypt, an alien race visited Earth. Rather
than continue to influence Earth’s natives, they created a parallel dimension
which they called New Tuat. Their king was brutally murdered and the assailant
escaped back to Earth. Sekhmet sent seven of her finest warrior guards after
the murderers. They and their descendants remain on Earth to this day. The
stories in the series relates to these brave men, the war they continue to
fight and the women they have come to love.
Happy Ever After or
Happy For Now? Why?
Happy Ever After. We all need a
happy ending – don’t we?
How much of
yourself is hidden in the characters in your books?
I
would have to say that Jennifer, the heroine in Book one, Eternal Lovers and I
have several things in common. We were both raised by our Native Grandmother… I
even went so far as to include the location of her childhood as mine.
Describe yourself
in five words…
Enthusiastic, cheerful, animal-lover,
humanitarian, and traditionalist.
(In your humble opinion) best and worst book to movie adaptations…
Best – Gone with the Wind, worst – Twilight, the book was
ten times better.
Do you have
specific techniques you use to develop the plot and stay on track?
Sekhmet’s Guardians is the end product of the dreams the
Guardians have shared with me. I write by the seat of my pants, no plotting or
outlining for this series, although I have plotted out my other books.
If you were a
character in your book you would be…
AVATAR
Sex And The
City…which character would you be?
And not be…
Never watched it, sorry.
When were you
first published? How were you discovered?
1966 – I was
still in high school when my creative writing teacher sent a piece in for me.
It was purchased by Life Magazine.
Time for over and
under… (In your humble opinion)
famous overrated/underrated book?
Ah, touchy subject…
personally, I think the Shades series was over-rated. Although a best seller, I
have read my share of better erotica. As a fan-fiction take off on the Twilight
Saga she did an amazing job of capturing the essence of Bella.
Time for favourite:
song, color, book, TV series, movie, food, drink…
Song –
My Immortal’ Color – purple - every book in the series is done on a purple
background, TV Series – love Criminal Minds; Movie – Avatar, Food – Lobster;
Drink – Coffee in the Am, Riesling at night.
How (or when) do
you decide that you are finished writing a story?
When my characters
reach their HEA.
People are always
asking me this so I’m paying it forward. Where does your inspiration come from?
My
dreams.
What are you
working on right now?
Books six and seven of the series; books two and three of my
Greek God series and final edits on Sins of a Man, the story of a Mafia Hit
Man.
Of course – most of my heroes are.
If you could have a
power or ability what would it be?
To shift.
The old adage
“Write about what you know”…
Considering my series
evolves around Native American Lore and Egyptian Mythology – most definitely.
I’m N.A., and a history major with a minor in Egyptology.
